The glamour of Hong Kong as a metropolis stems from the development spanning over a century. With a seamless blending of east and west cultures, up-to-date management philosophies and proven practices, and an environment where both Chinese and English are widely spoken, Hong Kong is advantaged as no other is in further broadening exchanges with mainland China. Hong Kong’s role to link mainland China and the world and its ability to provide first-rate training opportunities defy any doubts.

Hong Kong Financial Services Institute (HKFSI) strives to gain keen knowledge of training related demands and make optimum deployment of various resources in Hong Kong. A wide range of learning activities are featured, including lecture at classroom, case study, topic discussion, and visits to enterprises, in order to combine theories and practice and improve results of our training. We have served trainees from many parts of the Country, with the number of people trained in a year exceeding 2,000.

While HKFSI was granted the overseas training institute qualification certificate by SAFEA in 2001, it still has to be strictly evaluated by the administration every year. In 2005, the qualification certificate was renewed, extending its validity from 2005 to 2008, and Shanghai Municipal Government designated HKFSI as its first overseas training base. We inked a long-term public servant training agreement with the People’s Government of Anhui Province in 2006.

Training is an ever-fresh theme. We’ll continue our efforts in our cause, bringing Hong Kong as an invaluable training classroom into fuller play. The cause of training does not have an end as the realm of knowledge has no bounds. We hope our endeavor will make more contributions to the development of mainland.
